Easter Sermon is like...RASSM?

I found it a bit interesting how at sermon today the Pastor made a Star Wars reference. Being Easter, ressurrection and the hope it leaves us for the afterlife in Heaven were obviously on-topic. But what surprised me was that he akined it to a Star Wars newbie who's seen the Prequels but not the Original trilogy. Confused? Here's the lowdown:

Before the ressurrection: we see our lives and hear Christ's teachings and it all sounds great...
After ressurrection: it'll be even better come afterlife in Heaven if you believe in Jesus Christ
Christian Hope: in Jesus, we can hope for ressurrection ourselves and be in Heaven come afterlife

Star Wars newbie: Hey! I just saw the Prequels and they're COOL!
Star Wars oldbie: You think that's cool you should see what happens next in the Original Trilogy!
fan hope: WOW! You mean it gets BETTER?!?!

I can't tell it as well as he did, but who knew my Pastor was a Star Wars fan?! Thank goodness I didn't actually bust out laughing during the sermon...but I was giggling so hard that the pew was shaking.
