Finding Captain Nemo

Ok so wrong Nemo but there *was* a submarine. :-) Alrighty, I didn't make mental notes while watching this so my memory's a little...uh...well, I'm in good company. Now if this new edit window will stop reloading on me, I can get on with the review. I'll *try* to go in order here. <::ahem::>


Coral Yes the beginning was darker but at least there was one fish left. I read that spoiler so I didn't cry or anything.

school You knew there were gonna be puns! :-D But this was just the first of about a billion! There were FAR more puns in this one than all the other Pixars! But as for school, I've never heard a ray sing before. Was his name Charles by any chance? I forgot...

Clownfish How did I know they were gonna pull *that* gag about them being funny?

Tanked Something tells me I'm never gonna put another fish into a tank. That one with the bubbles... :-D

The Quest Nice new storyline. Me like!

Dori I don't like Ellen Degenerate but I like her voice here. For some reason, whenever I see someone with an enourmous amount of spunk who can find LOADS of fun in the smallest of anything, I think of DG. Thankfully DG doesn't have that kind of a memory problem and DG's not degenerate. DG does like blue tho! (and I know my memory's bad but at least it ain't THAT bad!

Sharks! Most people when they're growing up have teddy bears. I had a great white shark. As a result, I don't like Jaws all that much so I was a wee bit weird on the sharks here...then I saw the movie and I think mine would approve! Fisheaters Anonymous!

Deep Black Sea Glow in the Dark fish are not friendly. I love how they played with the light and how they got away!

Impressive Remember the preview with the skiddish fish just before Monsters Inc? They did not show that scene in this movie but they did show the fish. It must have been an earlier version of the same scene and I like the movie version better. Watch these guys, they're cool!

Surfs up DUDE! A hero in a half shell. "Don't hurl on my shell I just waxed it!" With Turtle Wax no less. :-D LOVE those guys and the little ones are SO CUTE!!! The current reminded me of hyperspace from Star Wars and the wormholes of Contact. I'd like to take a spin on that thing!

Grapevine? I didn't think grapes grew underwater. Glad to hear the tank guys have a pelican for a friend!

Speaking of tank guys... I don't like dentists either, but I'm glad they think it's a spectator sport. Irony here: the fish watch people. ;-)

Brace yourself They certainly managed to make a gruesome kid. Psycho music was good too. Poor fish! Smart Nemo. Smart fish indeed! I'm sure the waiting room was scared.

Back home Nice reunion! Glad to see Dori's got a good anchor for her memory now! And the new filter is...broken! :-D So how do they get out of the bags?

Credits WAY BETTER THAN OUTTAKES! Thing is, I know they were saying something, but you can't hear it cuz there's music playing. Thankfully there's no more *Randy* Newman, but there's still a Newman. I'm getting SO SICK of Newman! Almost makes me think they gave him the Oscar to get rid of him. Hate to say it, but there it is. Did you see Mikey? :-)

Snowglobe Another one of Pixar's old shorts was at the beginning. I liked For the Birds much better tho. There was that tank thing going on tho...


That's the best I can do for a review for ya. I'd do more except I was laughing so absolutely HARD! I don't think I've laughed that hard at a movie in a theater since...gee...I dunno. I'm DEFINATELY gonna see it on the bigscreen again if I can. We were in the crap theater and it looked like it wasn't widescreen but who cares? I LOVED THIS MOVIE!!! WOOHOO!!! }-((((*>
