The Dance of the Hours

I officially got up at 7:30am on Saturday morning and officially went to sleep at 12:00am on Monday night. I took a 15-minute nap (I think, but it's not really being counted) within the first 4 hours. During Sunday and Monday at various times, I would be SO tired that I would appear to fall asleep for literally [half a second] and it happened SO often and SO quick that we can't really count those. I also tried to get a 30-minute nap within hour #47 (5am on Monday) but because there had been so MUCH of that half-a-second stuff, that I couldn't really tell if I slept or not. Even when I got up, it felt like I took 30 mins to get up even tho it was closer to 30 sec!

So, if these 3 things aren't counted (and let's face it, we really can't cuz we really can't confirm due to the time warp and the fact that Mom was often experiencing the same thing), I was awake for 66.5 hours!

Yeah, 66.5 wowie. I had no idea I could do that. I musta gotten about 4-6 winds cuz there were times each day where it felt like just a regular day and the nights were split up amoungst the previous ones if I even remembered them at that moment. It's nice that my body tried not to make a big deal about it, but believe you me, I'd never wish to be in a profession that forces you to keep those kinds of hours.

66.5 hours. New house record and one that I'm *quite* content to leave standing! :-)
