SNOW 2003!!!

As custom in our house whenever it snows during the night: Mom woke me up and I looked thru my bedroom window and saw SNOW!!! After deliberating for a few minutes as to whether or not I should (and could) get up, I did. I got dressed,d grabbed the camer, and went outside to take a few shots of the virgin show. <::MAJOR SIGH::> Even saw the garbage/recycle guys pick up the stuff while in the snow. I called my Aunt & cousins to see if they had noticed the snow and if they wanted us to come over and take pix of them in the snow and we went.

Mom & I went over after breakfast and gave thema good education on snow (this is the South after all, no one knows what to REALLY do with snow around here :-P~). The surprising treat was that when we went over to Aunt C's to see Papa and "my two little cousins", they all took off thus leaving me with the girls and their friends. I "chaperoned" as two of their friends came over to go take a walk in the snow. We walked thru the woods, near the water tower, into one of the public baseball parks, back thru the wrong complex, onto the sidewalk, and then back home. Of course they were all throwing snowballs at each other the whole time. :-D

I WISH I'd had the camera while we were in those woods!!! <::MAJOR BIG SIGH::>

I love snow!!! I miss snow!!! And now the snow is melting...it didn't say in the forecasts (tho we've been mentioned on Weather Channel repeatedly today) that we'd get snow, but according to them, the snow will return on Monday. Somehow I doubt it, but I would LOVE IT!!! A one-day snow. I should go get that one joke pic I thought up quickly before it's gone!!! <leaves>
