Class of 1999 & 2006!!!



The graduation ceremony was yesterday! Still haven't quite got my brain wrapped around the concept of my "being graduation from high school" yet. I think it'll settle in when I finish turning in grades this summer. Only 33 of us walked across the stage and since this was Homeschool, I didn't know a soul there. Very odd feeling. Party at home was wonderful (who needs booze when you have triple chocolate?!) and I'm still recovering (from the lack of sleep from yesterday). We bought my very first 3-piece suit for the occaision. It's purple! :-D The robe was very Hogwarts, the tassle is very in-your-face, the collar is very much hated, and the hat is...square. I dunno for sure, but I always thought that those caps looked like someone was balancing a book on their head with a bookmark hanging out of it. For a house of bookworms, it's very appropriate. As for the photo, I did this on a whim and decided I liked it for the blog. Stuff starts getting put away tomorrow (hopefully).
