The "other" update

bits: I VERY MUCH MISS BEING ONLINE!!! Good news is we fixed the modem problem, bad news is, I need to finish my essay and not be distracted by the new computer table arrangement. It's very Matrix in here just now and going to get moreso. Don't ask about the fire hazard that is the wiring by my feet just now.

biology: At least I've been outside, which is more than I can say for last summer. I've redone the plants in the flowerbed and added 2 yellow brick roads. We'll eventually have to replace the soil in all the flowerbeds. So far, no more trees have had to die (yet) but the same cannot be said for the bushes. Of all the greenage in the yard that *I've* wanted to get rid of, the ones in the front have not yet been replaced with the much-wanted gardinias. We're in the process of trying to keep our 1 gardinia alive, especially since we lost one of my cacti. I've also been talking to the plants more whenever we goto the hardware store. Thankfully, in a small town that's ripe with gardeners, this is not considered unusual behavior. My sleep pattern, however, still is.
bankrupt, brushes, & books: When someone tells you that your favorite art supply store the next town over has gone bankrupt and closed, don't wait for a few months to verify: do it right then and there so you can tell the person who told you that they're wrong and please stop spreading the nasty rumor! Newest in my art endeavors: I've been buying How To Draw Manga books for a while now and just recently bought some pens to go with them. Man those little inkwells are CUTE! Very Harry Potter but without the feathery part. I picked up some how-to-learn Japanese stuff as well. This should be interesting... <Ianpuff starts whispering to Seanpuff in an unknown language> Yes, very interesting indeed. Mwuahahaha! <Ianpuff & Seanpuff quickly shut up> <others snicker>
